Difficult not to look at the Blues and to remain camped on its positions… All the more so when the French team is about to challenge Argentina in the final of the World Cup this Sunday at 4 p.m.
It is precisely this campaign of the men of Didier Deschamps in this World Cup that has changed many opinions on the boycott.
According to a BVA barometer for RTL and Orange, 19% of French people who showed their desire to boycott the World Cup in Qatar finally cracked.
Before the start of the competition, this same survey announced that more than 6 out of 10 people in France said they did not want to follow the competition because of human rights, the conditions of migrant workers on construction sites, or ecology.
Some have reviewed their position, since 43% of respondents say they never intended to boycott, which is contrary to the previous figure.
A craze deemed “normal”?
Is there a number that goes in the direction of the boycott?
Yes, according to the same barometer, 37% of French people have continued the boycott, regardless of the course of the Blues.
An action that is politically on the left, since the people who boycotted the most are EELV sympathizers and voters of Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the last presidential election (around 60%).

Last interesting point of this survey: the very good audiences of the France team (20.7 million viewers ahead of Morocco, a record for all channels since 2016) are viewed negatively by 33% of respondents.
A craze that worries the people questioned, only 44% of them consider this craze “normal” around the Blues.
And this enthusiasm will only grow as Sunday's final against Argentina approaches at 4 p.m.
