Norway has total dominance in the men's biathlon pursuit this season.

Sturla Holm Laegreid won this Saturday, December 17, the men's pursuit of the Grand-Bornand World Cup.

The podium is 100% Norwegian with Vetle Christiansen and Johannes Boe.

The French Fabien Claude still signs a good fourth place.

This Saturday, the start of the event was delayed by 20 minutes, the snow being too icy and dangerous in a bend for the athletes.

The circuit was consequently amputated by 250 meters.

Starting in second position, 17 seconds behind Johannes Boe, the Norwegian Sturla Laegreid came on the last shot a few seconds behind his compatriot Vetle Christiansen.

Christiansen missed two targets when Laegreid had a clear round and cruised to victory 19 out of 20 and 24′'6 ahead of Christiansen.

Behind, at 35′'8, Johannes Boe, author of three faults and handicapped by skiing problems, took third place.

The Norwegian nevertheless retains his yellow World Cup leader bib.

Boe had won ahead of Laegreid, for two doubles, during the first two chases at Kontiolahti in Finland and then at Hochfilzen in Austria.
