Huge opportunity to equalize wasted: Hörgersdorf's Johannes Irl (No. 8) fails against Fraunberg's goalkeeper Maximilian Baches and defense chief Jonas Gutwirth.

In the end, however, the FCH celebrated, turning a 0:2 into a 3:2.

A trio has the best cards for promotion in the A-Class 8 during the winter break.

District – After initial difficulties and the change of coach from Hans-Peter "Hape" Walter to Felix Stocklauser, relegated FC Hörgersdorf has established itself and takes first place.

The turning point was the game against Fraunberg: “We were one class worse than Fraunberg up to half-time and were rightly 0:2 behind.

It was an extremely important and groundbreaking game for us back then," says Stocklauser.

"After half-time, the boys came out as changed.

They demonstrated morality, will, courage and whatever it took.

They played one of the best halves I've seen in Hörgersdorf and turned the game around."

They are also satisfied with second-placed TSV Grüntegernbach.

"Playing with both teams at the top, especially with what is probably the youngest squad in the league and staying in second place over the winter, is outstanding," enthuses TSV press spokesman Andreas Dengl.

"To only get one point in both games against Langenpreising directly after the two wins against Steinkirchen was perhaps the disappointment so far."

FSV Steinkirchen is also only one point behind Hörgersdorf.

Coach Kosta Papantoniou is correspondingly enthusiastic.

“We showed really good games.

The overall attitude and performance of my team was great.

The boys are doing really well too,” he says happily.

"On the other hand, we were very upset about the injury to our goalkeeper Tristan Kaup."

You are also satisfied with the FC inning.

So much so that the contracts of player-coaches Manuel and Adrian Hahn have already been extended.

"We just really enjoy it," says Manuel Hahn.

"The whole team, whether the board or the groundskeepers, everything is great.

We have great conditions here and that is reflected in the results at home.” The coach is certain: “The whole FC Inning is doing everything to ensure that we eventually celebrate a great success.” The foundation stone for this is to be laid at the training camp at Lake Garda will.

He wants to make the team fit for the rest of the round.

FC Fraunberg is equal on points with the inning.

“One of our highlights is definitely the derby win against Reichenkirchen on the first day of the game.

That was the basis for the good start to the season with three victories in a row,” says Malte Kaps.

"Unfortunately, we also suffered very bitter defeats against direct competitors for the top spots."

So far, the reserves of TSV Dorfen have fallen a little short of expectations.

But a series before the winter break makes player-coach Nik Jensen positive: “Our young team has continuously developed and is very willing to learn.

The wins in Inning and Steinkirchen, as well as the five wins in a row before the winter break were great.” What wasn't so positive: “We allowed ourselves to lose points unnecessarily in Langenpreising, Kirchasch and Hörgersdorf.

On top of that, we slept through the start of the season again.”

One of the surprise teams is certainly the Wartenberger Reserve.

After a great start, TSV was at the top for a while.

“The victories against Hörgersdorf and Steinkirchen were great.

If we lose, then apparently like 1:6.

That was the case with three defeats," reports TSV spokesman Thomas Rademacher.

"Otherwise there is little to complain about.

We can play freely in the second half of the season and still annoy one or the other first team.”

So far, the SpVgg Langenpreising has worked out a thick cushion downwards.

“Our game in Grüntegernbach was the best this season.

But at the same time it was a flop because we missed two penalties and the game ended in a draw.

One could almost think that we are the England of the A-class”, philosophizes Langenpreising's Rainer Schmidmüller with a laugh.

SG Reichenkirchen is not absolutely top, but player coach Robert Lex, who leads the list with 16 goals, is.

A single flop so far is the reserve of the BSG Taufkirchen.

With four points, she occupies the last place and has to worry about staying in the league.

"But the very good presence in training makes me feel positive," says captain Sebastian Schlossnikl.

“There are always twelve to 15 men just for the second.

We want to attack again with them.”
