It was just a class difference.
Erding – The Erding Gladiators outclassed Bayernliga bottom EC Pfaffenhofen on Friday evening in a one-sided game from start to finish with 14:1 (4:1, 6:0, 4:0) goals.
The two regular goalkeepers Christoph Schedlbauer and Thomas Hingel were missing for the Gladiators.
This is how 21-year-old Patrick Mayer got his first assignment and was hardly challenged.
Substitute keeper was 17-year-old Niklas Schleicher.
As expected, the Erdingers immediately took matters into their own hands against the tail light and stormed the Pfaffenhofen goal, which was guarded by Hannes Kiefer.
Erik Modlmayer had the first chance after a great Zimmermann pass, but was denied by the keeper.
But just a few seconds later, Tobi Cramer scored to make it 1-0.
In the 8th minute, the Gladiators were outnumbered for the first time, and after just 16 seconds Daniel Krzizok made it 2-0.
The hosts played the Eishogs partly dizzy - and became careless.
In the 11th minute, a shot by Simon Hess promptly made it 1:2.
The Erdingers lost their mind for a moment, but quickly recovered.
By the third break, Mark Waldhausen had increased the lead to 4:1 with a brace within 103 seconds.
In the second half, too, the unfortunate Eishogs had almost nothing to oppose against the Gladiators' storm. Erik Modlmayr completed an individual performance to make it 5:1 (26th), Florian Zimmermann made it 6:1 (29th), Waldhausen did the same 7:1 his hat trick perfect (32nd), Krzizok made it 8:1 56 seconds later, and with two powerplay goals Michl (37th) and Simon Franz (39th) made a double-digit result perfect at the second break.
Tobi Cramer opened the final third with the 11:1 (44th).
After that, the Gladiators slowed down for a moment, only to pick up again: Basti Cramer with his first Bayern league goal (54th), his brother Tobi and Michael Franz scored 14:1 within just 85 seconds.
That's it.
