Argentina will face France in the World Cup final for the World Cup title.
In Buenos Aires, the fans freaked out after the early 1-0.
Buenos Aires - This is how the first half of the World Cup final was imagined from the Argentine perspective: The Albiceleste pulled France's teeth early, led to the break after goals by Lionel Messi (23rd) and Angel di Maria (36th) with 2 :0.
The celebrations were correspondingly boisterous - on the outskirts, in Qatar, and of course at home too.
Millions of people watched the game live in the Argentine capital.
Whether together at the public viewing in the city squares, in pubs or at home - when Messi converted the penalty to take the lead, the Argentines freaked out.
