Despite the end of the season, Formula 1 remains exciting.
Although the drivers have already been decided for the coming season, things are a little different with the team bosses.
Who will take over Williams?
Wantage - Actually, the "silly season" should be over long ago.
But then there were four team boss changes in Formula 1 within 24 hours.
Two of them have yet to announce a new team boss: Williams and Alfa Romeo.
But for one racing team, a successor is already being discussed - more precisely a successor!
And none other than Susie Wolff, former racing driver and wife of Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff.
Susie Wolff |
Born: December 06, 1982 (40 years) in Oban, United Kingdom |
Spouse: Toto Wolff (since 2011) |
Team: Venturi Racing, Formula E (until 2022) |
She knows her way around in motorsport.
She started her own career at Renault, drove in Formula 3 and for Mercedes in the DTM.
In addition, Wolff was a test driver for Williams for three years - exactly the racing team that rumor has it that she could soon take over.
Since 2015 she has not been actively racing, but has ventured into the management level.
In Formula E, she has been team boss at Venturi Racing since 2018, and the Scot has even been CEO there since 2021 - but resigned in August 2022.

Many fans wonder if they can work in Formula 1 as a married couple and competitors
Without the commitments in Formula E, Susie would definitely have enough time to manage a Formula 1 team.
She already accompanies her husband regularly to race weekends.
Another point that speaks for her as a team boss: Mercedes and Williams work closely together.
The British racing team gets the engine from Mercedes and trains the drivers who might end up with the Silver Arrows.
It was the same with George Russell, who has been driving for Mercedes since the 2022 season.

Should Susie really join Williams, the Wolff-Power couple would draw a lot of attention.
But even if Williams and Mercedes work closely together, they are still competitors.
So many fans ask themselves whether it can be good to work as a couple and competitors in Formula 1.
In addition to Susie Wolff, another candidate is often mentioned: Jenson Button, the former Formula 1 driver probably also has a good chance of getting the position at Williams.
