Are we at the beginning of a prestigious tradition?
Israel Hayom has learned that Syracuse College, one of the top colleges in American basketball, is expected to come to Israel this summer and hold a series of exhibition games.
As you may remember, last summer Auburn College came to Israel with the famous Jewish coach Bruce Pearl and played against the Israeli national team and other teams.
In an interview with Israel Hayom, Pearl said that he is working to create a permanent tradition in which a large college will come to Israel every year.
In the program of Pearl and the other people who organize the game trips, there is a combination of a visit and games in Israel as well as an exhibition tournament in the Emirates.
Syracuse may be the first to inaugurate the tournament in Dubai.
