A personnel-depleted EA Schongau clearly lost the Bayernliga home game against leader TEV Miesbach.

The scoreboard caused problems.

Schongau – The TEV Miesbach proved to be one size too big for the EA Schongau.

The weakened “Mammuts” lost 5-0 at home against the leaders of the Bayernliga.

"The team did a good job, but Miesbach played like a leader and we weren't lucky either," said Schongau's assistant coach Markus Ratberger after the event, which was clear in terms of the result.

"But we also had chances, but nothing wanted to go in," said EAS boss Franz Andergassen.

The club chairman and his crew worked up a sweat in the middle third when the scoreboard in the hall failed.

"If we hadn't gotten it to work again, the game would have been abandoned," reported Andergassen, who was ultimately happy that the display was working again after two interruptions - and the game could be played to the end.

EA Schongau remains without a goal against TEV Miesbach

Schongau was severely weakened: With the injured Samy Paré and Fritz Weinfurtner as well as the sick Daniel Holzmann and the professionally prevented Jonas Schwarzfischer, the EAS lacked four regular employees.

Above all, the failure of goalscorer Paré hurts.

"We are considering getting a replacement for him," explained EAS team manager Martin Resch.

The decision should be made after the game against Pfaffenhofen on Sunday (report to follow).

In the first round, the Schongauers balanced the game.

Philipp Keil (5th) missed a good chance to take the lead when he was outnumbered.

Instead, it was Miesbach's Felix Feuerreiter (10') who, with a bit of luck, put the disc under the pads of EAS goalie Daniel Blankenburg to make it 1-0.

Afterwards, the "Mammuts" were lucky that Max Hüsken's supposed 2-0 lead (11th) was not recognized for being offside the goal area.

A little later, Hüsken got another chance with a penalty (14th) – but Blankenburg could not be overcome.

Shortly after the start of the second round, however, the EAS keeper had to admit defeat again.

Patrick Asselin (24th) scored the 2-0 in the follow-up.

Immediately afterwards the scoreboard refused to work.

When it started again, Stefano Rizzo shot the disc into the Schongau goal.

Because the clock was not running, this goal was not recognized either.

After that, the referees sent both teams into the cabins until the problem was solved.

After the restart, Benedikt Pölt (28th) increased it to 3:0.

At the other end, Jonas Lautenbacher (35') was unlucky when his deflected shot hit the crossbar.

Marius Klein (40th) missed another good EAS chance.

In the final third, the hosts continued to try to improve the result.

But the Miesbachers didn't let anything burn.

Andreas Nowak (43rd) made it 4-0 with a shot from the Blues.

Michael Grabmaier (57th) made it 5-0 after a face-off.
