Thomas Bryant scored a dramatic 117:119 victory dunk, LeBron starred with 33 points. The Israeli only got 21 minutes and barely played in the last quarter

After nine straight losses, Washington and Avdia visited the Lakers and hoped to finally return to winning ways.

They also got Bradley Beal back after six games, but like against the Clippers, the Wizards surrendered after a close game 119:117 en route to their tenth straight loss and also dropped to a negative balance of 20:11.

Danny Avdia started with the five as usual, but this time he played much less and only got 21 minutes when in the last quarter he barely saw the floor.

Avdia finished this game with 8 points and 3 rebounds (3-for-7 from the field) and could be concerned about the reduced amount of minutes he received.

After the Lakers led by 14 at halftime, it looked like they would cruise to victory despite the absence of Anthony Davis.

But an excellent third quarter by Bradley Beal, who scored 11 points in his comeback game from injury after six games, brought the guests back into the game.

The Lakers already led 104:11 with 3:35 minutes remaining.

But Gafford and Goodwin led a 0:5 run.

Washington's defense focused on LeBron James, who found Austin Reaves with two consecutive assists and the Lakers went up 111:115.

The Wizards came back from timeout with a basket by Gafford on an offensive rebound, LeBron missed a three and Bradley Beal tied the score at 115. LeBron scored a dunk from the other side, but Beal again tied from the line, leaving the Lakers 23 seconds to try to win the game.

Danny Abedia came in to guard LeBron and almost stole it, but the King found Thomas Bryant for a game-winning dunk before Kyle Kuzma tried to tie it with a 3-pointer that went wide.

LeBron recorded an excellent game of 33 points (13 of 24), 9 assists and 7 rebounds.

Thomas Bryant, who started in the starting lineup in place of the injured Davis, provided 16 points, 10 rebounds and the winning basket, and Lonnie Walker contributed 21. On the other hand, Bradley Beal was good in his comeback game with 29 points, but even Porzingis' 21 and Kuzma's 22 against the former were not enough for Washington, which was really close this time but records the longest losing streak in the league.
