Eurocup summary: Gran Canaria - Hapoel Tel Aviv 83:85 (Sport1)

After an excellent blue and white evening that included two overwhelming victories by Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Holon lost in its lockout round in the group stage of the Champions League, a dramatic 86:95 in overtime to the Belgian Ostend in a volatile and fascinating game, which ended in a loss.

Sharon Dawson sent the game to overtime with a big 3-pointer, but Breen (31) scored from all range and inflicted a loss on the champion which means a lot.

A victory would have assured Holon Aliyah, but following the loss and victory of Galatasaray in the corresponding match, Goodes' team will be forced to play in the play-in and if they manage to qualify from it, they will play together with Hapoel Jerusalem in the top 16.

His big three was not enough in the end.

Overtime opened with a three-pointer by the unstoppable Breen and Holon was forced to chase again.
