After a defeat at the start, the FC Langengeisling soccer team celebrated three straight victories and are now looking forward to the Oberbayern final, which will take place in Oberding.

FC Schwaig, on the other hand, suffered from bad luck with injuries.

Langengeisling/Schwaig

– The district teams performed with varying degrees of success at the district indoor championships.

While the FC Langengeisling soccer team qualified second for the district finals in Rott, FC Schwaig came to the end in Röhrmoos, which is no drama for coach Manfred Buchhauser: “Basically, we did quite well.

However, we do not train futsal.

That's why we find it difficult to score the small goals in particular.” That was also the case in Röhrmoos.

In fact, FCS only scored four goals in the six games, scored by Katharina Blank (2), Sophia Buchhauser and Emily Grimes.

Worse than the results, however, are the injuries to Sophia Buchhauser (suspected metatarsal fracture) and Anna Schlehhuber, where the old ligament injury broke out again, "so that we had to play four games in total with only seven and six players respectively - in a total of six games of twelve minutes each it's not without it," said Buchhauser, who praised Vroni Rupprecht, who bit her teeth.

“In addition, we had a Christmas party the day before and the first game on Sunday at 9.30 is a very bad time for an adult tournament in the run-up to Christmas.

"An appointment in the afternoon would certainly make more sense here in the future," suggests the Schwaiger coach.

“But we drove home from the tournament with our heads held high and presented ourselves better than the result says.

FC Langgeisling is completely different.

It was all about jump or top in all the games.

The first game against the Bavarian league team FC Stern Munich went 0-4 goals in the pants.

"We kept up really well in the first five minutes and really should have taken the lead," says coach Stefan Karamatic.

With a 3-1 advantage, they stormed into the opponent's goal, but missed the chance.

"And in return we conceded 0-1."

Against the district league team SV Schechen, the FCL was then under pressure.

Karamatic: "That was a decisive game, but we were dominant from the start." Julia John quickly made everything clear with a double strike in minutes 1 and 2.

Antonia Chowanietz added a third goal.

Everything was quickly clear against SV Gendorf/Burgkirchen after goals from John and Theresa Widl.

With the 3-0 win over SV Neukirchen/Teisenberg (goals: John 2, Steffi Karamatic), the district upper division team finally got their ticket to the district finals, which will take place in Oberding on January 29th.

In addition to Stern and FCL, FC Ingolstadt, TSV Gilching, Wacker Munich 2 and SpVgg Markt Schwabener Au will also be there.

Karamatic was satisfied with his team's performance.

"After the first defeat, we dominated our opponents confidently.

We always took the lead quickly and then didn't allow much.” The coach had special praise for Steffie Karbaumer, who, as a trained field player, replaced regular goalkeeper Celine Siebrecht brilliantly and didn't concede a goal three times.
