Not sufficient: FC Bayern decided to transfer – top candidate probably not averse

FC Bayern wants to strengthen between the posts.
Sven Ulreich is not expected to play the role of goalkeeper.
Yann Sommer is considered a candidate.
Munich – After Manuel Neuer's injury, it's now clear: FC Bayern Munich will strengthen the goal again.
Only with Sven Ulreich do the FCB officials not want to go into the second half of the season.
While Alexander Nübel still seems to be the preferred solution, the record champions are now focusing on a Bundesliga goalkeeper in Yann Sommer.

In the past, Kahn and Co. had always backed Manuel Neuer and also expressed their trust in him for the future.
After the Munich captain broke his lower leg on a ski tour, Sven Ulreich was initially considered the successor.
Most recently, Sepp Meyer also spoke out for the 34-year-old.

information, the Bayern bosses do not trust the replacement keeper to play the role as a regular.
The club will therefore strike again on the transfer market.
The number 2 remains: Those responsible at FC Bayern do not trust Sven Ulreich to be the first-choice goalkeeper.

FC Bayern: Salihamidzic and Co. satisfied with Nübel's development
The preferred solution between the posts should still be Alexander Nübel.
The FCB managers around Hasan Salihamidzic are obviously very satisfied with the development of the 26-year-old.
Nübel has been on loan to AS Monaco since 2021, who would be reluctant to give up the goalkeeper because the Principality would then have to strengthen themselves in goal again.
Since there is no return clause in the loan agreement, the Monegasques have the upper hand.
FC Bayern: The goalkeeper question should be clarified on January 6th
In Munich, however, they do not want to wait too long for an answer from the principality.
Those responsible would prefer Nübel to return to Säbener Straße on January 6th.
Then the goalkeeper could travel to the training camp in Qatar.
Since AS Monaco has apparently not yet decided, the Munich team are now seriously considering other candidates.

FC Bayern: Yann Sommer could be the new replacement
According to Sport1 and Sky information, Yann Sommer is at the top of Hasan Salihamidzic's list.
The Swiss national goalkeeper is open to a Bayern change in the autumn of his career.
The 34-year-old's contract expires this summer.
If Borussia Mönchengladbach still wants to transfer money for the summer, they would have to sell it in the winter.
With the short contract period, the Bundesliga keeper would not have to pay a large fee.
