Benjamin Pavard keeps slipping into a negative spiral.

He was kicked out at the World Cup and apparently caused problems in the team.

Munich – It all started with the alcohol drive: Benjamin Pavard made a lot of headlines at the end of 2022, most of which were of a rather negative nature.

His public flirtation with a change was not well received by the Bayern bosses.

World Cup: Bayern star Pavard booted out by France coach Deschamps – did he create a “toxic mood”?

The 2022 World Cup should have been the big stage for him, but it didn't go according to plan at all.

The first game against Australia was Pavard's only one.

On the way to the final, coach Didier Deschamps let him stew on the bench.

In 2018, the FCB defender was still a key part of the world champion team.

Pavard is "physically and mentally" unable to play, Deschamps justified his decision during the World Cup tournament in Qatar.

This statement already led to the conclusion at the time: Something is amiss here.

The French investigative journalist Romain Molina made serious accusations against the star of FC Bayern.

In a YouTube video, he revealed that Pavard's hiring created "a lot of tension" and a "toxic atmosphere" within the team.

The second time he was not allowed to lift it up: Benjamin Pavard's French failed against Argentina.

Bayern star Pavard is said to have caused a bad mood in the team at the World Cup after he was knocked out

Pavard is said to have been angry after Deschamps' public bootout and did not accept the decision.

"In training or when he was on the bench, Pavard allowed himself comments about his teammates, which the staff found completely inappropriate," reported Molina, who did not identify the source of his information.

In the final there were said to have been "very tense words" between Coach Deschamps and Pavard.

Some teammates even accused Pavard of carrying internals out of the cabin.

So Pavard a toxic mole?

Whether there is any truth to the allegations remains unclear for the time being.

The French newspaper

also reported tensions at "Les Bleus" during the tournament.

Pavard said goodbye to the national team these days.

But even at Bayern, he will probably not return to an oasis of well-being.

Julian Nagelsmann has to build up a few disappointed World Cup participants on Säbener Straße.
