FC Bayern could sign two new players in winter.
Hasan Salihamidzic didn't actually want to do anything.
But then came the World Cup.
Munich – In retrospect, it will no longer be possible to measure how much anticipation FC Bayern really had for the 2022 World Cup.
However, the desert tournament in Qatar shook things up with the record champions.

reports on it.
At the end of October and beginning of November, almost all Bayern stars were in top form and shot the Bundesliga to pieces.
Now, almost six weeks later, the world on Säbener Straße looks completely different.
In keeping with the gray weather, there is sadness there.

Winter transfers at FC Bayern: injuries force Salihamidzic to act
The sporting retirement of the Munich kickers at the World Cup plus the injuries suffered by top performers during and after the tournament are forcing the Bayern bosses to rethink.
Hasan Salihamidzic almost categorically ruled out a winter transfer at FC Bayern's last home game in mid-November, and the sporting director is now forced to act.
Manuel Neuer's injury means Bayern need a new keeper.
This decision has now been made.
However, it is not yet clear who this will be.
Alexander Nübel's premature return campaign is more difficult than initially assumed, which is why Brazzo and Co. can apparently make friends with a different solution.
FC Bayern have to react to Neuer's injury - is Yann Sommer coming in winter?
Yann Sommer is said to come from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The Swiss contract expires in 2023, an extension there seems impossible.
As reported by
Sport1
, the 34-year-old could imagine moving to Munich.

Is everything going so fast now?
The Bayern bosses want clarity by the end of the year so that the new keeper can fly to the training camp in Doha on January 6th.
It is quite possible that a new (old) keeper will be signed by Bayern over the years.

Konrad Laimer to FC Bayern?
RB star could sign in January
The next Bayern transfer could then be made in the new year.
Konrad Laimer should already agree with the record champions.
He could sign a contract from January 1 as his working paper at RB Leipzig ends on June 30, 2023.
Laimer would then move to Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer.
In addition, it cannot be ruled out that Bayern will make another winter transfer.
First of all, coach Julian Nagelsmann should look at how his stars coped with the World Cup.
The injury to Lucas Hernandez (torn cruciate ligament) also creates a vacuum in defense.
Winter transfers at FC Bayern: is there another defender coming?
Matthijs de Ligt and Benjamin Pavard, who feel called to the role of Hernandez's replacement, have had a horror World Cup.
In addition, Vice World Champion Pavard seems to be generally unhappy and is publicly flirting with a change.
It is therefore possible that Bayern will step ahead and sign a defensive star if the opportunity arises.
Josko Gvardiol has caught the eye of the top European teams with an outstanding World Cup for Croatia.
However, the 20-year-old youngster in Leipzig still has a contract until 2026. According to
Bild
, he only has an exit clause in 2024 – and it should be 112 million euros.

Departure in winter: is Bouna Sarr still leaving Bayern?
So there could not only be movement in the FCB squad in one direction.
Departures are also not completely ruled out.
A name that keeps coming up in this context is Bouna Sarr.
However, there is currently no market for the Senegalese, which makes things difficult.
Brazzo must have imagined the pre-Christmas period to be much more relaxed.
At least back then, in October.
