Bayern Munich lent their support to their French striker Kingsley Coman on Monday, targeted by racist insults after missing his shot on goal against Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday in Doha.

The Bayern striker, second in scoring for the Blues, had his shot denied by Argentinian goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez as the two teams were tied 1-1 in the fateful session, giving the Albiceleste the chance to take the lead .
The Blues, who had come back to 2-2 in regulation time, then 3-3 after extra time, finally lost 4-2 on penalties.
Midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni whose shot flew out of bounds and striker Randal Kolo Muani were also victims of insults on social networks in the wake of the defeat of the France team.
