The swimmer from Bnei Herzliya set 7:49.29 minutes and smashed the previous record of Guy Moskovich from 2015 by more than seven seconds.

He was followed with an Israeli record for youth by Yoav Romano, who set 7:52.79 minutes and third Yonatan Ehadot with 8:02.80 minutes.
