In an Austrian TV show, David Alaba tells of an extensive celebration night of his former ÖFB colleague Martin Hinteregger.
He takes it with humor.
Munich/Vienna - It was a "b'drunk story", writes the
Kronen Zeitung
.
Occurred apparently as part of an international trip by the Austrian national team.
Involved: Martin Hinteregger, former Eintracht Frankfurt cult ticker, and David Alaba, once under contract with FC Bayern and now with Real Madrid.
Former greats of the Bundesliga.

Specifically, it's about September 7, 2019. It was Hinteregger's 27th birthday, who was under contract with Eintracht between 2019 and summer 2022.
Before he surprisingly ended his career – at the age of just 29.
Although the European Championship qualifier in Poland (0-0) was coming up two days later, Hinteregger from Carinthia clearly wanted to celebrate his day of honor.
And not with the ÖFB team, but with friends.
Alaba and Hinteregger now told this in the
ServusTV
program "Sport and Talk".
So curfew would have been at 9 p.m. – actually.
But "Hinti", as the SGE fans call him to this day, probably didn't matter.
"We thought in the evening, he should go celebrate with his people.
But: 'Hinti, please be at home by 10 at the latest,'" Alaba said.
At 8 a.m., at breakfast, the former top central defender did not show up.

called
– but Hinti didn't answer," said Alaba: "So we got a room card and went upstairs." There he found a completely exhausted Hinteregger in bed , said the 30-year-old Viennese, who earned his money between 2009 and 2021 on Säbener Strasse in Munich.
Hinteregger remembered: "I think I only got home at 7 a.m. and just wanted to sleep." Alaba added: "We then packed his suitcase and tried to somehow get him on the plane.
I held him and pulled him in.” Hinteregger laughs: “Yes, you managed that quite well.”

Martin Hinteregger, formerly Eintracht Frankfurt
The national coach at the time, Franco Foda, finally let the defender sit on the bench for 90 minutes for "disciplinary reasons".
Martin Hinteregger (Eintracht Frankfurt): 67 caps and four goals for Austria
"Martin made a mistake.
It's usually customary to celebrate your birthday, but it wasn't the right time.
I spoke to him very intensively about it and the most important thing was that he apologized to the coaching staff, the supervisory team and also the team," Foda explained about the incident at the time: "Everything else was done internally with the players' council, so the topic is for done me."
Hinteregger played a total of 67 international matches for Austria, in which he scored four goals.
