After the great farce in the parade, Lionel Messi arrived tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) in his hometown of Rosario, and was received, of course, with the respect reserved for the greatest.
The flea, who marched the Argentine national team to an unforgettable victory in the World Cup, returned home and continued his private victory celebrations.
Messi flew from Buenos Aires together with Paulo Dybala and Angel Di Maria, landed in the city he left in 2001, when he was 13 years old, and from there he took off by helicopter to the neighborhood where his family lives, accompanied by his wife, three children, his parents and a number of other relatives.
An emotional welcome awaited him there as well, with hundreds of enthusiastic fans singing to him: "Thank you, Leo".

Messi will spend the Christmas holidays in Rosario with his family, and should remain in the city of his youth until the end of the calendar year.
Only then will he return to Paris and rejoin the training of Saint Germain.
"There were many disappointments on the journey, but without them it would have been impossible to succeed," Messi wrote last night on his Instagram account, "I always had a dream to be a world champion and I never stopped trying. Diego Maradona encouraged us from heaven. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, come on Argentina."
