Pierre König LIVE: 43-goal man should shoot SC Unterpfaffenhofen out of the table basement

Pierre König was the top scorer of the past A-class season.

The 30-year-old has now switched to SC Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering in the district league.

Unterpfaffenhofen/ Munich –

Pierre König has already played in a wide variety of leagues, from the A-Class up to the state league.

He has already played for a total of six clubs – now another one is coming.

The 30-year-old switched from FSV Pfaffenhofen to SC Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering in the district league during the winter transfer phase.

At first glance, it looks like a move to the neighboring city - in reality, the two clubs are almost 70 kilometers apart, despite the similarity in name.

His new club, SC Unterpfaffenhofen, is based in Germering near Munich, while FSV Pfaffenhofen is roughly halfway between Ingolstadt and Munich.

The 30-year-old should be the rescue for SCUG: At the moment, the team of coach Franco Simon is on a relegation place, two points behind the saving bank.

So far, the district league has scored 17 points from 18 games.

Now König should improve the weak offensive – SC Unterpfaffenhofen's attack scored the third fewest goals in the league.

There are still twelve games in the spring, so everything is still possible.

Pierre König scored 43 goals for FSV Pfaffenhofen II last season

Pierre König was able to draw attention to himself last season in particular.

He scored 43 goals in 22 games for the reserves of FSV Pfaffenhofen, becoming the top scorer in the A-classes Donau/Isar and securing the 15 crates of ERDINGER Weißbier, which are advertised for the top scorer.

Despite his stalls, Pierre only played for the second team of FSV this season - he was not used in the district league team.

In twelve district class games, the striker scored five goals for the reserve and added two more goals.

The 30-year-old also acted as assistant player-coach at FSV Pfaffenhofen II. Since last season he has held this position together with player-coach Heiko Juhra.

He has now – logically – handed that over as well.

At SC Unterpfaffenhofen he only works as a player.
