The English club have activated a clause to extend their international winger who was free in June 2023 by one year. This will complicate the task.

For several months, Marcus Rashford, is often quoted on the side of PSG.

The 25-year-old Manchester United winger, who scored 3 World Cup goals with England, was at the end of his contract in June 2023. In early December, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi had no hid his interest in the Sky Sports micro player.

“Rashford is another really amazing player.

We do not hide it, we spoke before and there was an interest.

But the timing was not a good one for either side.

But Rashford's contractual status has just changed.

According to several British media, Manchester United has used the clause it enjoyed in the contracts of four of its players to extend them for an additional season: Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw and Fred.

The four players whose contracts expired in June are automatically extended until June 2024.

A situation that will complicate the task of PSG in this case.

Now, if PSG still want to sign Rashford, they will have to negotiate and pay a transfer fee to Manchester United.
