Maccabi Jaffa's dreams of promotion to the Premier League became especially real today (Friday), after a 2:3 victory over Hapoel Ramat Gan, which elevated them to first place in the national league table.
Caviglio survived quite a thriller against Ramat Gan.
Dobb Gabbai (29), Matan Beit Yaacov (36) and Itzik Schulmeister (44) put the hot team of the league up 0:3 already, but Ramat Gan came back thanks to goals from Mor Siman Tov (45) and Shagyi Dror (55).
In the end, the equalizer did not come, and Jaffa celebrated a victory worth first place.
