A 19-year-old Frenchman is on the Munich list.

At Bayern, too, he put himself on the sidelines by making statements about a possible change.
The people of Munich were already looking for a replacement for Pavard and apparently found what they were looking for.

Benjamin Pavard: The defender has already spoken publicly about a change
In recent months, Pavard has become unpopular with both those responsible at FC Bayern and the fans of the record champions.
At the beginning of November it became known that the defender had been caught drunk at the wheel, at which time the 2018 world champion is said to have behaved disrespectfully towards Julian Nagelsmann during a training session.
Only a short time after the negative headlines about him, Pavard began to discuss a change in interviews with French and Italian media.
He spoke to the Italian
Gazzetta dello Sport
and the French
L'Equipe
about a possible "new project".
He ignored his contract term until 2024, which resulted in a clear reprimand from Bayern boss Oliver Kahn.

Banjamin Pavard apparently doesn't want an extension - will Malo Gusto replace him?
Now that it has become known that Pavard is refusing contract talks with his current employer, the former 35 million euro transfer is expected to be said goodbye.
From the summer of 2024 he could leave Munich free of charge, Bayern would have to use the next transfer periods to sell the right-back.
Despite Pavard's likely departure, the France block could remain the same size in the FCB squad.
Because those responsible have already looked around for a replacement, and this could come from the French league of all places.
According to information from tz, FC Bayern is watching Malo Gusto from Olympique Lyon.

Gusto, who has French and Portuguese nationality, extended his contract in June last year until the summer of 2024. Depending on when Pavard says goodbye, Bayern will also have to pay a fee.
But Bayern are in no hurry, unlike in the goalkeeping position.
With Josip Stanisic and Noussair Mazraoui there are still two nominal right-backs in the squad.
