After two defeats in a row, SC Riessersee wants to get back on the road to success with a win against ECDC Memmingen - and that in new jerseys on their 99th birthday.

– Sometimes even small changes are enough to restore the desired success.
SC Riessersee recently suffered two defeats against EC Peiting and on Tuesday evening in Höchstadt.
A third party against ECDC Memmingen on Friday evening at 8 p.m. should be avoided as far as possible, as the home game is a very special one.
The SCR celebrates its 99th birthday against the Allgäu – and in a new guise.
Of course, the Christmas jersey alone, which will be used in all home games and away at Deggendorfer SC until January 6th, will not be enough to get the recently stumbling Riesserseer back on the road to success.
Coach Pat Cortina knows that too, and most recently criticized his team's lack of "luck".
In training on Thursday, he therefore focused on the things on the ice that he can actively influence.
Specifically: playing in your own third, with and without the puck.
"We haven't always been compact lately, we gave the opponent too much time and space," he complained.
The 58-year-old is particularly annoyed about his team's start at the Höchstadt EC.
Only 102 seconds were played on Tuesday evening when the white-blue were already 0:2 behind.
The fact that the Alligators didn't score enough points despite the interim equalization was also due to the aforementioned luck.
The chances were there, either HEC goalie Philipp Schnierstein or the post and crossbar stood in the way.
"We weren't ready.
And you only have luck when you are ready.”
SCR doesn't want to mess up its anniversary
Cortina doesn't want to use as an excuse that he only had five fit defenders to fall back on after Felix Linden's broken fibula, which has since been operated on.
That won't change against the Indians either, as Ryker Killins and Aziz Ehliz are still injured.
Accordingly, it is important to avoid penalties.
"That saves energy." And the Garmisch-Partenkirchen team need this against the guests from Memmingen, who have been spurred on by the win against leaders Weiden during the week and are certainly equipped with a great deal of self-confidence.
Because you don't want to mess up the anniversary at the SCR.
"The game will be special," says managing director Pana Christakakis: "We hope for many spectators so that we can celebrate the birthday of ice hockey in Garmisch-Partenkirchen appropriately."

Santa Claus has also announced that he will be there the day before Christmas Eve at the Olympic Ice Sports Center.
Anyone who takes a photo with him, uploads it to Instagram and links the SCR has the chance to win one of three prizes.
Most of all, however, the spectators would certainly be happy if their club was successful.
