But how did Salt Bae get involved in the Argentine coronation festivities on Sunday in Qatar?
Fifa is carrying out an investigation to find out how the famous Turkish butcher and restaurateur was able to enter the lawn after the World Cup final lost by the Blues (3-3, 4 to 2 on tab) in Lusail.
The owner of a chain of luxury restaurants, real name Nusret Gokce, was photographed on the pitch with Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and other world champions after the victory of the Argentina over France.
Footage even shows him kissing the trophy, which in principle can only be touched by world champions, Fifa officials or heads of state.
On other videos we see him trying to grab Messi's arm, visibly irritated, or biting a player's medal.
Several Internet users have not hidden their annoyance at his behavior on the lawn.

“After investigating the matter, Fifa is in the process of establishing how individuals gained unauthorized access to the pitch after the closing ceremony at Lusail Stadium on December 18.
Appropriate action will be taken internally,” a spokesperson told the BBC.
Salt Bae, 39, owns restaurants in places like Beverly Hills, London and Qatar.
One of his specialties is to be photographed with stars, including footballers.
Several videos and photos, showing him in the company of FIFA President Gianni Infantino have resurfaced since the start of the controversy.
Videos of him slicing and seasoning meat have been a big hit on the internet.
The Turkish butcher gets his nickname from the way he salts meat in front of his customers.
