"My success in Tokyo is a historic breakthrough for the sport. I would like to see in the future a new generation of gymnasts who will join in the successes. I believe it is possible" • Israel Olympic Committee Athlete of the Year in a special column for "Israel Today"

I am excited and proud to win, for the third time in my career, the title of athlete of the year of the Olympic Committee in Israel.

This recognition and appreciation is not taken for granted.

This is an expression of trust and professional appreciation for my uncompromising investment along the way.

My life revolves 24/7 around gymnastics.

I feel hungry to continue with all the vigor and strength for Paris 2024. My ambition - to continue excellence and succeed!

I want to get up in the morning without anything in my body hurting, I withstand very high loads, all with a clear and stated goal - to be the best I can.

Since I started my path in sports in Israel, I grew up and was educated in the Maccabi Tel Aviv Association - my supportive home, which accompanies me with loyalty, dedication and warmth all these years.

As an Olympic and European champion, I know how important it is that your association has your back.

I won!

In recent years, I have also been blessed with a supportive business environment, which gives me financial peace and allows me to concentrate only on gymnastics: Honda, Bank Hapoalim, Danone Pro by Strauss, Azoulay Lavanya Group and Fujitsu.

On top of that, I receive a perfect professional envelope from the Olympic Committee in Israel, the unit for accomplished sports and the gymnastics association.

I receive the close professional support of the coach closest to me, Sergey Weisburg, and by his side Andrey Grivanov.

Without them I would not have reached what I have reached.

Without daily hard work, it is impossible to reach the top of the world and keep the place at the top for a long time.

Talent is important - but not enough.

I am not resting on my laurels for a moment.

Things you do a lot, you do best.

Every now and then I think about what I would like to do after I finish my career.

Obviously I would like to continue what I love and know how to do the most and I would like to raise the future generation of gymnastics at Maccabi Tel Aviv and become the coach of the Israeli national team.

Since my Olympic medal win in Tokyo, more children are joining us.

I feel that my presence in the hall with them and with teenagers creates inspiration, connection and a great belief that it is possible to move forward.

My success in Tokyo is a historic breakthrough for the industry.

I would like to see in the future a new generation of gymnasts who will join in the successes.

I believe it is possible.

My dream is to make gymnastics a much more popular sport.

I hope that the industry will receive more significant media exposure, and not only when there are achievements.

I hope that the state will invest in the coming years in building suitable halls for apparatus gymnastics, so that every boy and girl in every corner of the country can exercise in their city of residence.

I have no doubt that the lack of halls means that we miss many champions.
