New York - Philadelphia (19:00)

* New York has played 54 times on Christmas Day - more than any other team in NBA history.

Balance sheet: 31:23.

* As a result, the Knicks have the most losses on Christmas (31).

The only team that has won more than them on Christmas is the Los Angeles Lakers (24).

* The Sixers are 14:18 on Christmas.

They have 18 wins on Christmas Day - third behind the Knicks and Lakers.

* This will be the 13th meeting between the teams on Christmas (balance: 5:7 for the Sixers), and the first since 2017. The second most common meeting on Christmas is New York vs. Boston.

* After holding the longest winning streak in the league, New York counts two consecutive losses.

Philly comes in reverse momentum with seven consecutive wins - second only to Brooklyn (8) in the East and in the entire league.

* James Harden has 26 3-pointers on Christmas Day - two less than the current record holder, LeBron James.

* Tyrese Maxey will be absent from one side, Obi Toffin from the other side.

Quentin Grimes is doubtful for the Knicks.

Dallas - L.A.

Lakers (21:30)

* The Lakers played 48 times on Christmas (24:24 balance) - only New York played more (54).

This is the 24th year in a row that the Lakers have played on Christmas Day.

* The team from the City of Angels has the most wins on Christmas Day (24).

* Dallas played only five times on Christmas, and stands at 3:2.

It will be its first Christmas home game since 2011.

* If he wins, LeBron James will break his best friend Dwyane Wade's record for Christmas wins (10).

* If he plays, King James will make 17 appearances on Christmas Day - the all-time record, held until tonight by Kobe Bryant.

* Besides being the record for 3-pointers, LeBron is also the record for points on Christmas (422) and the record for field goals (150).

* Russell Westbrook holds the record for steals on Christmas Day, with 29, three more than LeBron.

* If he scores 32 or more points, Luka Doncic will break Dirk Nowitzki's Christmas record (31).

In his only game so far on Christmas, he scored 27 points (even then the opponent was the Lakers, who won).

* The Lakers will of course miss Anthony Davis.

The Mavs will appear without the injured Maxi Caliber.

Boston - Milwaukee (00:00)

* Replay of the Christmas meeting from last year, when Milwaukee came back from 19 behind to 113:117.

* And more importantly: a replay of the great Eastern Conference semifinals from last year, in which Boston won the seventh and decisive game 81:109 thanks to 27 points from Grant Williams.

* These are the last two Eastern Conference champions, and the two teams with the best balance in the league (the Celtics with 10:23, the Bucks with 10:22).

* Only New York and the Lakers played more games than Boston on Christmas (35).

However, this will be only the fourth time the Celtics have been late at home on Christmas Day.

* Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 36 points on the head of the Celtics at Christmas last year, will try to break the club record belonging to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38).

The record for points on the other side, by the way, belongs to Tommy Heinson (45, 1961).

* Khris Middleton should be eligible in Milwaukee.

Robert Williams will dress in Boston, while Danilo Gallinari will continue to be absent.

Golden State - Memphis (Sunday to Monday, 3:00)

* In good luck, Memphis will make its Christmas debut.

In fact, only three Grizzlies players have played on Christmas so far - Steven Adams, Tyus Johnson and Danny Green (who is out with an injury).

* It will be a replay of the Western Conference semi-finals from last year.

In the three games in which he managed to play, before the injury, Ja Morant scored 38.3 points on the head of the Warriors.

* Golden State appears on Christmas Day for the tenth time in a row.

She has a negative balance of 17:14.

* This is the 15th time in a row that the NBA champion appears in the Christmas cycle.

* The injured Stephen Curry will be absent, but Klay Thompson will make his first Christmas appearance since 2018. Andrew Wiggins is also likely to be unavailable to Steve Kerr.

* Wilt Chamberlain's Christmas single-game scoring record probably won't be broken by any Warriors player anytime soon (59).

Denver - Phoenix (Sunday to Monday, 5:30)

* This will be the first meeting between the teams at Christmas (and also this season).

* The last time they met, in March 2022, Devin Booker rained 49 points on the head of the Nuggets, leading Phoenix to an exciting 130:140.

* Phoenix holds a record of 7:12 on Christmas (in terms of success percentage, only four teams have a better record).

* Denver stands at 6:1 - its only victory was in 1994, against Seattle.

Only four of its current players were alive at the time.

Only Toronto has a worse record on Christmas (2:0).

* Phoenix has beaten Denver in six of the last seven meetings between the teams, including a sweep in the 2021 playoff semifinals.

* Nikola Jokic will try to become the ninth player in history to post a triple-double on Christmas.

* Will we get club record months when it comes to points at Christmas?

Dunn Isle holds Denver's record (37), Charles Barkley holds Phoenix's (38).

Definitely within reach.

* The Nuggets will be without Cameron Johnson and Jae Crowder, Michael Porter Jr. questionable in Denver.

And some other numbers

* The highest percentages of success on Christmas belong to Miami, which has a record of 2:11 (84%).

Portland is second with 4:14 (77%), and you will certainly be surprised to hear about the positive and impressive balances of Washington (7:16) and Sacramento (11:18).

* The Christmas single-game scoring record still belongs to Bernard King, who scored 60 points for New York in 1984.

* The record for rebounds for one game belongs to Wilt Chamberlain and will probably never be broken - 36 in 1961.

* Nate Archibald holds the record for assists in one game - 18, in 1972.

* Kyrie Irving holds the record for steals in one game - 7, in 2016.

* DeAndre Jordan holds the record for blocks for one game - 8, in 2011.

* Patty Mills holds the record for three-pointers in one game - 8, in 2021.

* Tracy McGrady holds the highest points average on Christmas (43.3 - in three games).

* The team that has yet to play on Christmas - Charlotte (Memphis will do so for the first time tonight).
