Brentford - Tottenham 2:2
The Roosters where the World Cup is lagging behind and came up with almost their strongest lineup, including players like Ivan Perisic, Harry Kane and Young Min Son.
Even Hugo Lloris, the goalkeeper of the French team that lost in the final to Argentina, was in the squad and sat on the bench, with the only absences being the injured Richarlison and the new champion Christian Romero.
But there was only one team on the field in the first half, and it wasn't Tottenham.
The German Vitali Yanlit made a quick 0:1 for the hosts with a push from close range after a bad dunk by Forster and Ivan Toni, the scorer of the hosts, doubled the score in the 54th minute with another push after a mistake in the visitors' defense.
But Tottenham, who in the previous round before the break turned a 3:1 deficit against Leeds into 3:4, did not despair and began its comeback with a beautiful strike goal by Harry Kane in the 65th minute.
Six minutes passed until Pierre Hoyberg equalized with a precise kick from outside the box.
The visitors continued to press and in the 34th minute they almost completed a turnaround, but Kane hit the crossbar.

Manor Solomon was injured just after the opening round of the Premier League, and had to undergo knee surgery.
He hoped to return to Marco Silva's squad today, but did not fully recover from the injury and was left out again.
But his team did well without him, also thanks to the referee who removed two players from the hosts and made the newcomer's job much easier.
The wonderful Aleksandar Mitrovic set up Bobby Reid's first (31) and three minutes later Trick Mitchell was sent off with a straight red.
In the 57th minute, the hosts were down to nine players after James Tomkins received a second yellow.
Palace held out for 14 minutes with two men down until Mitrovic set up another assist for American Tim Ream, who scored the first Premier League goal of his career.
Mitro himself was treated to dessert (80) and completed a great game for him.
