EV Moosburg fights for a point in a turbulent game against EV Fürstenfeldbruck - after leading and falling behind by two goals.

Moosburg – EV Moosburg lost the home game against EV Fürstenfeldbruck 5:6 after extra time, but the green and yellow were satisfied with one point.

Because while in the first leg EV Fürstenfeldbruck equalized shortly before the end, this time the hosts turned the tables and scored six seconds before the end to make it 5-5 and thus retained at least one point in the Clariant Arena.

EV Moosburg: Two-goal lead after a strong initial phase - then comes the sluggishness

At the beginning, however, it looked like it could even get three points.

Because even without their suspended top scorer Cedrick Chagnon, the Moosburgers put the EVF under a lot of pressure.

Mario Strobel and Thomas Baumann were denied by guest keeper Dennis Berger, but then EVM captain Sascha Haschberger took the lead from a tight angle (6th).

The team from Dreirosenstadt followed suit and used their first majority game to make it 2-0 through Benjamin Franz (11th).

After that, however, the young Moosburg players in particular slipped, so that the guests appeared several times completely free in front of EVM goalie Johannes Probst with the simplest combinations and could play him with peace of mind.

Kresimir Schildhabel (12th), Michal Telesz (15th) and Frederik Hoffmann (16th) turned the game around.

Shortly before the end of the first third, the hosts conceded a goal from the blue line by Mathias Jeske to make it 4-2 (20th).

Vinzenz Maier equalizes shortly before the end – Fürstenfeldbruck scores the golden goal

After the break, the green-yellow came back a little more stable, but it wasn't enough for a storm like at the beginning.

After all, Stefan Groß reduced the lead to 3:4 in the second half (25th).

In the final third, however, Jeske restored the old two-goal gap for the EVF with a dust-off.

But the EVM didn't give up and played the goal again - again by Groß (54th).

The hosts then tried everything, took the goalkeeper off the ice and 40 seconds before the end celebrated a supposed goal by Haschberger, which the referees refused to acknowledge.

Seconds later, the equalizer worked out when Vinzenz Maier scored the 5:5 (60 th ) after a face-off won.

Not much went together in extra time.

Fürstenfeldbruck used Moosburg's carelessness again to score the decisive goal through Schildhabel (60' + 4').
