After the festive evening of Christmas in the NBA opened with impressive victories of Dallas over the Lakers and Philadelphia over New York, three more games were held tonight (between Sunday and Monday), with Boston beating Milwaukee and Golden State reminding Memphis who is the champion.
Tonight's games:
Boston (10:24) - Milwaukee (11:22) 118:139
Golden State (18:16) - Memphis Grizzlies (12:20) 109:123
Denver Nuggets (11:20) - Phoenix Suns (14: 19)
New York (16:18) - Philadelphia (12:20) 119:112
Dallas (16:17) - Los Angeles Lakers (19:13) 115:124

The meeting between the two teams with the best balance in the league was close in the first half, which ended with a point advantage for Boston, but in the third quarter Jayson Tatum took control of the game, scoring 20 points in the next 12 minutes in a tremendous quarter that included 7 of 10 from the field, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in which the Celtics won 25:38, and Tatum finished the entire evening with 41 points, a prestigious victory and another statement from his team.
139 points is the most for a team on Christmas since 1983, when Jaylen Brown also gives an excellent evening of 29 points, 13 of them in the third quarter, and in total the Celtics win in the second half 57:77.
The Celtics, as I remember, beat Milwaukee in seven games in the Code Playoffs, and even tonight they managed to relatively stop Giannis Antetokounmpo, who did score 27 points but only on 9 of 22 from the field, with only 2 of 8 in the paint, when the Greek encountered six different guards and 16 of his 22 shots are challenged by the defense.
Yannis even got angry on one occasion, when he was knocked to the floor and got up to confront Brown and pushed him in the back.

Golden State (18:16) - Memphis Grizzlies (12:20) 109:123
There was a lot of tension before the game, which is a repeat of last season's Western Conference Finals where Golden State won in five games.
Young Memphis arrived with a full and healthy roster, Jay Morant presented the new Nike shoe named after him, before the game some arrogant quotes were heard from the Grizzlies about being the younger and hungrier team, but the champion gave an overwhelming answer with an impressive home victory, in a hot game that pumped up the crowd in San Francisco.
Jordan Paul was above them all as he finished with 32 points, before being ejected for the first time in his career with 9 minutes left for a second technical foul (in a game where the Warriors had 6 technical fouls).
The 7 total technicals in this game is the most ever for a Christmas game.
13 assists and 13 rebounds, with 3 points.

Paul, who also delivered one resounding dunk, opened the game wonderfully with 17 points in the first quarter and was 5 of 9 from the field, and as the game progressed he could not hide his enthusiasm for his team's ability against Memphis, even though the Warriors are playing without the injured Stephen Curry. Fifth in a row.
Klay Thompson scored 24 for the champion, Donta Divicenzo scored 19, Ty Jerome scored 14 off the bench, Moses Moody scored 10 and also bounced off the bench after a big hit.
On the other side, Morant scored 36 points and added 8 assists and 7 rebounds, but also 6 turnovers and only 2 of 10 from three, with all of Memphis finishing together with 9 of 39 beyond the arc (23 percent).
