The Maccabi Petah Tikva football club announced this evening (Monday) the appointment of Benny Lam as the team's coach, after coach Shay Barda was earlier informed of the end of his work with the team.
Later, a meeting was held between owner Avi Luzon and Lam, in which it was agreed that the latter would coach the team until the end of the season.
The club said: "We thank Shay for his time at the club and wish him success. In the hope that the team will be promoted to the Premier League at the end of the current playing season, Benny Lam will continue to coach next season as well."
