Maccabi Tel Aviv will meet Anadolu Efes this Thursday at the Menorah Mittehim Hall, with the aim of continuing to improve its position in the Euroleague, where currently the Yellows have a record of 8 wins and 7 losses.
Today (Monday), the leading European website Basket News published their strength index for the Euroleague, placing the Yellows in ninth place, unchanged from the last index they published.
"After a shaky month, Maccabi has achieved 3 wins in its last 4 games and is in 7th place. Wade Baldwin is still not back from his injury, and this will definitely improve Maccabi."
Above Maccabi in 8th place is Red Star Belgrade, and also in Skonia in 7th place.
The first trio consists of Barcelona, which leads, followed by Monaco and in third place the Greek Olympiakos.
Anadolu Eps, Maccabi's next opponent is only in sixth place.
13th-placed Villerban made the biggest jump from the previous ranking, while Željko Obradović's Partizan Belgrade and Yam Medar dropped six places.
Elba Berlin of Tamir Blatt and Yuval Sussman is in the last place, following the difficult series of losses that plagues it.
