A complete mess.
During the away game against Maccabi Netanya, Maccabi Haifa fans were recorded confronting the police.
During the match and also during the halftime break, loud explosions were heard in and outside the stadium, apparently from the throwing of stun grenades.
In Haifa they come with serious claims to the Netanya police.
In the first minutes, policemen entered on suspicion of flares that were hidden in the stands that housed the audience.
Even when no flares were found, clashes began between police and fans.
According to the testimonies of fans who were in the stands, the complaints are about the use of tear gas directed at the audience, when there were small children who were injured as a result.
"Force, tear gas and unnecessary measures were used," the club said and added: "The police forces entered the stand for no reason and the use of force was inappropriate and unreasonable."
As a result of the violence of the police, hundreds of fans left the stands already during the first half.
The management of Maccabi Haifa stated that it "will contact the authorized authorities to deal with the matter".
