Sadio Mané will have to wait a while for his comeback.
The injured Bayern star uses the compulsory break for German lessons.
Munich - Sadio Mané had every reason to be proud of his Senegalese at the World Cup.
Without their superstar, the lions reached the round of 16.
Of course, he would have much preferred to be on the field himself, but an injury to his fibula head didn't allow it.

Sadio Mané is missing from FC Bayern after surgery - opportunity for German lessons
It is not yet possible to say exactly how long the 30-year-old will be absent from Bayern Munich.
He had to undergo an operation in mid-November, and according to the media, those responsible expect three and a half to four months of downtime.
The record champions may have to wait until mid-March for their comeback.
Mané is in good company at the rehabilitation center on Säbener Straße, Manuel Neuer (broken leg) and Lucas Hernandez (torn cruciate ligament) even miss the whole second half of the season.
But there is still enough time for other things between his individual units: German lessons, for example.

FC Bayern: Mané diligently learns German
Mané's welcoming words in Bavarian ("Servus, I'm it, da Sadio") suggested that the Senegalese will be one of the more dedicated professionals when it comes to learning German.
His character too.
The people of Munich have now published a video of the Bayern star's language lessons (you can find it above).
And it shows that Mané actually works with the same enthusiasm at school as he does on the field.
The pronunciation is impressive after six months, but the French-speaking striker still has problems with his grammar.

Bayern star Mané: "German is so difficult, ey, ey, ey"
"German is so difficult, ey, ey, ey," he exclaims when he fails to form the correct imperative of "anrufen".
Followed by an apology, of course.
The Senegalese already has the typical football commands.
"Please pass the ball" or "Go left" are no longer a problem.

At the end of the German lesson, Mané's teacher is very satisfied.
The superstar already had some prior knowledge from his time at RB Salzburg.
It is quite possible that Mané will soon be giving the first interview in German.
First of all, it is even more important to get in top shape.
