Dozens of union heads, coaches and coaches participated today (Tuesday) at noon in the launch of the Israeli Coaches Association, in the VIP complex at Shlomo Insurance Stadium in Petah Tikva.
During the event, the union's logo and website were revealed and the union's CEO Dr. Uri Shafer presented the vision and goals of the new body that will unite artists and coaches from 55 sports in Israel and the main findings of a national survey conducted on the subject among 416 coaches in Israel.
The union will work for the recognition of coaching as a profession in Israel, to deepen the knowledge and awareness of rights among the coaching public alongside the development of sports culture in Israel.
At the event, they welcomed attorney Tali Yaron Elder, who will serve as the chairman of the union, and medalist Alex Aberbuch, who serves as the professional director of the Israeli Coaches Association.
Roi Berkowitz, director of the department for training coaches at the Ministry of Culture and Sports welcomed and also participated in a professional panel that was held afterwards under the direction of Dr. Uri Shafer.
