- How it is after winning games in which not everything, but most of it went right and success was achieved thanks to a solid team performance: After the 7: 3 of EHC Klostersee on Boxing Day against the Landsberg Riverkings, the first three of the Reds -Whites in the current round of points in the Oberliga Süd, many in Dominik Quinlan's team pushed themselves as "player of the game".

"A great job by all my boys," the Klostersee head coach was happy about the first three.

"Finally we've rewarded ourselves for the huge effort, after we've often been very close." That was important for morale and self-confidence.

The fact that Pastachak got out of the situation in the last third is due to the necessary luck, said Quinlan, who after captain Raphael Kaefer has to lament the next experienced long-term absence.

Klostersee will have to do without injured striker Fabian Zick tonight at 7:30 p.m. against EV Füssen

The season is probably over for striker Fabian Zick after he received an (unpunished) knee check on his thigh during a guest appearance in Lindau.

The result was a severe bruise and an ever-swelling thigh.

Because of a so-called compartment syndrome, in which the muscles are no longer sufficiently supplied with oxygen, Zick was operated on immediately.

“Of course, that further limits our options.

It is all the more important that the guys at the back do a good job on the ice in the next few games, as they did today,” said Quinlan, looking ahead shortly after the home win.

Already today, Wednesday, the next hurdle is waiting for the EHC away at EV Füssen (game starts at 7.30 p.m.).

The Allgäu completed their previous task in Passau with a 9:4 success.
