Inter want to bring Thuram to Milan in the summer

According to a report in the "Gazzetta dello Sport", Inter Milan wants to lure the French national soccer player Marcus Thuram to Lombardy with an upcoming offer from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer.

Accordingly, those responsible for the traditional Italian club want to meet with the advisors of the 25-year-old at the beginning of next year.

The contract of Thuram, who was born in Parma, with the Gladbachers ends after this season, he will be on the market free of charge in just over six months.

Allegedly, Inter wants to offer the offensive player, who still has free time because of his participation in the World Cup, a working paper with a term of five years.

In addition to Inter, clubs from the Premier League, including Manchester United, are said to be interested in signing the Frenchman.

Sommer continues to be discussed as a new replacement

After an accident while ski mountaineering, the season for Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer ended prematurely.

In winter, the record champions will most likely react on the transfer market.

Shortly before the Christmas holidays, the rumor about Gladbach's Yann Sommer gained momentum: The Swiss national goalkeeper, 34 years old, still has a contract in the Lower Rhine that is valid until the end of the season.

In winter, Borussia has the last chance to collect a fee for summer.

“There were already open talks with the club before the World Cup.

We will resume this in the coming days as agreed,” Sommer was quoted as saying.

Sommer moved from FC Basel to Gladbach in 2014, since then he has been a regular goalkeeper there and mostly a top performer.

With 19 saves against Bayern, the goalkeeper not only secured a point for his Gladbachers in the first leg against Munich, but also set a new Bundesliga record.

Ex-Bayern coach Scheuer is moving to Brighton

Jens Scheuer, former champion coach of the women's soccer team at Bayern Munich, is the first German coach to take over a club in the English Women's Super League.

The table penultimate Brighton & Hove Albion announced the 44-year-old as the new head coach on Wednesday.

Scheuer received a contract until the summer of 2026, subject to the granting of a work permit.

"It's a great feeling, I'm really looking forward to working for the team and the club.

The facilities are the best I've ever seen," the successor to Hope Powell, who resigned in October, was quoted as saying on the club's website.

Bayern parted ways with Scheuer last summer after three years.

In 2021, the former Freiburg coach won the championship with Munich.
