A video published this week by the management of the football leagues succeeded in infuriating the people of Beitar Jerusalem, and inciting great anger among the players, who claim that the body that manages the two top leagues "does not respect them".
The rush started on Sunday afternoon, when a video was posted on the principal's Facebook page with the title "Roll out a red carpet for him. The Beitar defense did a little too much respect to Dor Micah."
In the video itself, you see the third goal that the Hapoel BS scored against the Yellow-Blacks, when Micah receives a red carpet in this video, on his way to kick-off, while Beitar's defensive players, especially Amit Cohen, do not go out to close the connection of BS.
Players of Beitar Jerusalem who were exposed to the video saw it as something intended to "humiliate", according to them, and contacted officials in the club's management regarding the matter, so that they would talk to the director and ask for the video to be removed. The club's spokesperson, Assaf Nahum, spoke with the members of the directorate, including the CEO. to Nicholas Lev, but the administration informed them that the video would not be removed and only the caption would be updated.
As of this morning, the video in question on the principal's official Twitter account appears with the initial caption - "Roll out a red carpet for him. The Beitar defense did Dor Micah a little too much respect," and only on the principal's Facebook page is the caption changed: "Dor Micah rolled out a red carpet for himself all the way To the winning goal." A Beitar player said: "Fans and teams can laugh at us, but not the manager."

Officials in the administration explained that: "As soon as we realized that Beitar players were hurt by the caption, then it was changed, on Facebook and Instagram, on Twitter it is impossible to change it.
There was no intention to hurt."
In the meantime, the defender Joshua Mahiyas, who did not return to Israel after the break, informed the Yellow-Blacks that he will return to Israel on Sunday, and he is expected to face a disciplinary committee and be fined.
In Beitar they were already looking for a replacement stopper for him and the coach Yossi Abouxis will have to decide on his continuation in the team.
