Even without Leo Messi who still hasn't returned from the celebrations in Argentina, PSG did not expect to return to the French league this evening (Thursday) with a very dramatic 1:2 over Strasbourg from the bottom of the table.
Christophe Galtier's team, with Kylian Abempe and Neymar in the lineup, was supposed to crush the weak opponent.
It started according to the plans when already after 14 minutes it was Markinius the brakeman who gave them an early lead, and the Parisians went into the half with a small 0:1.

But the second half boded ill.
Mbappe and Neymar continued to be inaccurate in the last part of the field, and out of nowhere the opponent got back to business with an own goal by the Brazilian stopper who completed a double, but to the wrong goal.
If that wasn't enough, then the troubles of the French champions continued when in the 62nd minute Neymar was sent into the box, and dived on the grass trying to squeeze a penalty kick from 11 meters.
But the referee didn't like the Brazilian's impersonation, and surprisingly decided to give him a second yellow card and removed him from the game.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, PSG continued to threaten the opponent's goal and deep in the extra time, Mbappe shot into the box, was blocked, and Paris received a justified penalty.
The Frenchman was of course not confused, kicked in and gave Paris a valuable victory.
