The last days of the year are always particularly emotional for the Schumacher family.
Because the husband and family man Michael Schumacher fell so badly in a skiing accident nine years ago that he has not been able or wanted to appear in public since then.
But the memory of the German motorsport hero will remain forever.
To mark the occasion, Mick Schumacher posted a touching photo of himself and his father just before Christmas and just a few days before the anniversary of the tragedy.
The 23-year-old, who will follow in his father's footsteps in a new role at Mercedes in the upcoming F1 season, shared the profile photo on his Instagram account.
In the new picture, little Mick can be seen on Michael Schumacher's arm as he puts his arm around his dad and hugs him lovingly.

Family photo without Michael Schumacher raises questions – bad news coming?
The Schumi fans are delighted.
"I love your new profile picture.
It's so cute, ”is a reaction under one of Mick Schumacher's last posts.
However, other followers are also concerned about the photo and suspect bad news about Michael's health may be forthcoming.
“Wonderful picture of the two.
But I don't know why it makes me nervous.
Almost as if bad news is coming soon," commented one user on Reddit, for example.
A day after Christmas Eve, Mick also shared a family photo of himself, his sister Gina and mother Corinna Schumacher.
The three of them are sitting in front of three Christmas trees in the living room on the sofa with their dogs and seem happy.
"Merry Christmas", wishes Mick.
However, Michael Schumacher is missing from the picture, the fans miss their former hero.
"Michael is missing" and "Merry Christmas to Michael too," says the numerous comments.
