“In training, I find it magical when the lights of the velodrome start to go out. I like to sit in the stands, watch the track and say to myself: “The Olympic Games, it's going to be incredible.”
Mathilde Gros (23), trains, rehearses and dreams in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines on the Olympic track of which she knows
"the design, the slopes, the turns, where you can go up, where you can decelerate"

On October 14, she covered herself in gold during the world championships which, on this track, had the value of a dress rehearsal for the Olympic Games. Mathilde Gros remembers the images, the noise, the emotions that crossed her, still accompany him and offer him to project himself with ambition:
