As part of the "Together for the Community" activity and in collaboration with the "Boycott Patrol" project of the pipeline program with Guy Lerer, the upcoming cycle of games of the ONE ZERO League (the 16th cycle) will mark the raising of awareness and a firm stand against boycotts and bullying in schools.
All the players will go up to the grass together with the children of the patrol and will carry signs with the slogan "Boycott not in my group" and also the players of the teams will wear shirts with this message.
In addition, the game announcer will also read a text with messages on the subject, and in addition, as part of the collaboration, a surprise video was produced for Itamar Zino, one of the patrol's children, with the cooperation of Barak Becher and Dolev Haziza, which is also attached here.
Unfortunately, the phenomenon of boycotts in schools in Israel is not disappearing, but has even increased in recent years, according to the data, in about 60% of classes in schools in Israel, one process of a one-point boycott took place against one of the students.
In contrast to the past, what emerges is the awareness of the issue and the attempt to fight it while understanding that a child who has been boycotted at school carries the sediments of the past and its damages even in adulthood for many years.
The "Boycott Patrol" project has been operating for almost 4 years, led by ten brave children who went through difficult school boycotts and are now doing everything to help children who are in the same situation as they were in the past, thereby also giving strength and hope to other children.
The chairman of the league management, Erez Kalfon: "I see great importance in the fact that the league management once again engages in flooding inappropriate social phenomena above the surface and condemns them.
I believe that the power of professional soccer in Israel will help to increase awareness of the issue of boycotts and bullying among children and youth and taking a stand will contribute to eradicating the phenomenon."
