Brazilian football idol Pelé is to be buried in his hometown of Santos on Tuesday.
This was announced by his longtime club FC Santos a few hours after the death of the three-time world champion.
The wake will take place in the club's stadium on Monday.
The coffin will be taken early Monday morning from the Albert Einstein Hospital to the stadium and placed in the middle of the pitch.
The public wake is expected to begin at 10 a.m.," the club said.
Fans would have the opportunity to say goodbye to Pelé.
A parade through the streets of Santos is planned for Tuesday.
The family will be buried at the Memorial Necropole Ecumenica cemetery.
