Alexander Nübel ended the discussions about a Bayern return himself. The keeper, who was loaned to AS Monaco, wants to stay in France.
Monaco – The most obvious solution is off the table: Alexander Nübel will not return to Bayern after Manuel Neuer's injury.
The goalkeeper made it clear to the

: "It makes little sense for me to come back!"
The ex-Schalke player was back on the field for AS Monaco on Wednesday.
He received enormous support from the fans, and when he warmed up, the fans who had traveled with him greeted him with chants of “Nübel”.
Of course, they also knew about Bayern's interest - and showed that they don't want to let him go.
Alexander Nübel doesn't want to go to Bayern: "I'm glad I'm here"
Now he gives FC Bayern a basket himself.
"I don't know how serious Manuel's injury is.
But I think he will be fit again by the summer, at the latest in preparation for the next season.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for him."
He feels at home in the Principality.
"I'm happy to be here and I still have a lot of games to play with Monaco.
I realized here how important games are.
I don't want to do without that anymore.” He doesn't want to queue up behind Neuer anymore, that's for sure.
Bayern have to look elsewhere for reinforcements between the posts.
The hottest candidate is currently Yann Sommer from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Ex-national goalkeeper Eike Immel is not convinced by the Swiss, but on paper he currently seems to be the best alternative to Nübel.
