During the Super-G race at the Alpine Ski World Cup in Bormio, Italy, a dog caused a disruption as it sprinted down the slope.
Bormio - In winter sports, there can be a variety of reasons for interruptions, but most of them are due to the weather or injuries to the athletes.
In Bormio, Italy, the Super-G race was stopped on Thursday afternoon for an extremely curious reason: a dog had gone onto the track and raced down it.

Dog interrupts Super-G races at Ski World Cup
This interruption caused amusement at the World Cup race in the Italian Alps.
Out of nowhere, the dog appeared on the particularly steep and winding Pista Stelvio and did a sprint, albeit on four paws rather than two even treads.
Despite the bumps in the road, he showed an almost flawless passage.
On the escarpment, the dog slipped down the icy surface, then immediately recovered to scoot down the hill.
The change was just right for the athletes, they laughed heartily at the surprising action of the dog.
