On Pelé's death: "It feels like we're losing a family member"

Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, died of cancer at the age of 82 surrounded by his family at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo.

At 8:18 p.m. German time, a black and white photo of the top star could be seen on Pelé's official Twitter account.
The caption read: 'Inspiration and love marked the journey of King Pele, who passed away peacefully today.
Love, love and love, forever«.
Pelé has won the World Cup three times with Brazil, more than any other soccer player.
People across the country are mourning the legendary player.
Incumbent Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro ordered a three-day national mourning.
His successor also spoke up:
"Few would have brought the name of Brazil that far," wrote newly elected Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
A public wake is to be held at the stadium of his longtime club FC Santos on Monday.
A parade through Pelé's hometown of Santos is planned for Tuesday, followed by the funeral.
