In the last preliminary round game on Friday evening at 7.30 p.m., EV Fürstenfeldbruck meets ESC Vilshofen.
Fürstenfeldbruck
– The die is cast for EV Fürstenfeldbruck: After ESV Waldkirchen was able to defend its fourth place in the table with a 5-2 win in Vilshofen, the game for coach Roman Mucha's team is almost meaningless.
In the last preliminary round game today at 7.30 p.m., even a win at ESC Vilshofen is no longer enough for the district townspeople to move into the promotion round.
Nevertheless, the Mucha team should not hang their heads and try to score in any case.
Because with the Bruckers, Vilshofen, Moosburg, Bayreuth, Selb and Ottobrunn are in the relegation round.
You take the points from the preliminary round matches against these teams with you.
There are also five teams from Pfronten, Bad Aibling, Lechbruck, Schliersee/Miesbach and Forst.
The playdowns begin in early January with the first and second half of the season.
The dates will be set on January 2nd at the online conference with the game master.
The first day of the game is January 6th.
The relegation round ended on February 24.
After that, only the bottom two in the table play out the only relegated team.
"Our goal for the season was fourth place, which we just missed," said EVF Vice Manuel Vilgertshofer, a little disappointed.
In the end, however, the team improved enormously over the course of the season after catching up on the competition with the missing ice times.
Nevertheless, Vilgertshofer is convinced that Brucker will have nothing to do with relegation.
"Our goal is to get first or second place in the playdown round," said Vilgertshofer.
"Especially in the last few games, the team has shown that they have what it takes."
