Now it's official, Dia Saba is leaving Sivaspur.
After no publications and rumors, the Israeli player called a press conference today (Friday) in which he officially announced that he will not continue playing football in the Turkish club.
"I'm leaving because of the family. That's why I won't be able to continue playing in the club," Saba clarified at the press conference.
Apparently, Saba is not expected to return to play in Israel when, according to reports, he has a high-quality offer from a team from the Turkish league and also another one from a club from Dubai.
As you remember, Saba came to the Turkish Sivasspor last summer and in the team's uniform scored five goals and also added four assists in 13 league games.
The Israeli striker had time to play in the past for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Petah Tikva, Maccabi Netanya and Hapoel Beer Sheva, from where he moved to play for the Chinese Guangzhou R.P. together with Eran Zahavi.
In 2020 he signed with Al Nasser from the United Arab Emirates.
