Andrew Tate, known for his chauvinistic statements, was arrested in Romania on suspicion of kidnapping two women together with his brother and abusing them sexually, physically and mentally.

Former world boxing champion Andrew Tate, known for his chauvinistic statements, was arrested tonight (Friday) in Romania on suspicion of human trafficking - following a video he uploaded, in which pizza trays appear that gave away his location.

Police raided the villa in Romania where Tate and his brother Tristan were staying, to arrest the British brothers on suspicion of kidnapping and rape.

According to the suspicion, the two kidnapped two young women, one with American citizenship and the other with Romanian citizenship, and left them there against their will, where they were subjected to physical and mental violence.

The prosecutors also said that they found six more women who were sexually exploited by the suspects.

The brothers declined to comment, but their lawyer confirmed the arrest.

According to the local police, the Tate brothers formed a criminal organization designed to sexually abuse women and force them to take pictures during pornographic acts, in order to distribute the videos on social media networks.

According to reports - the two were arrested last April, then released at the end of the investigation.

During the raid, the officers found weapons in the brothers' villa, including several guns, fists, an ax and swords, in addition to large amounts of cash.

According to reports, Tate's arrest came after he posted a video in which he railed against Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.

During the video, which is about two minutes long, Andrew asked an off-screen person to bring him two pizza trays, but "not to recycle them," in an effort to mock Thunberg.

The trays apparently indicated Tate's location - and allowed the Romanian police to track him down and arrest him.

The former world boxing champion is known for his mixed-up sayings.

Among other things, Tate said that in his opinion "women are partially to blame for being raped", "women belong to men", and that "depression is not a real thing".

He is also known for publishing homophobic and racist statements, and spreading misinformation during the Corona epidemic.
