Pierre Carraz is no more.
Known in the world of athletics for having been the lifelong coach of Christophe Lemaitre, he died on Saturday December 31, shortly after suffering a stroke.
He was 82 years old.
Carraz and Lemaitre began their collaboration in 2005 at the Aix-les-Bains athletics club.
They have known everything together.
The rise, the records, the medals, the European titles and the last more complicated years.
For several months, if he still remained in the entourage of Lemaitre, Carraz had put himself a little behind in the daily life of the athlete, giving way to Thierry Tribondeau.
