Openda, a constant poison
Not holder last Thursday in Nice, Loïs Openda was undoubtedly preserved for this shock.
And Franck Haise was right as his striker was sparkling from start to finish.
The Belgian weighed heavily on the opposing defense by often making sharp calls.
Clever in his movements, he scored the second Lensois goal by single-handedly mystifying the two central defenders of PSG (Ramos then Marquinhos).
He was then the author of a superb decisive pass in heel on the 3rd goal signed Claude-Maurice.
Fofana, exemplary captain
Once again, Seko Fofana set an example in this team with his sense of effort and sacrifice.
Swallowing the miles, he was invaluable in offensive transitions, as evidenced in particular by his luminous decisive pass for Openda on the 2nd goal of the Sang et Or. A constant activity which extinguished the Parisian environment.
Samba, the last efficient bastion
Author of 5 saves, Brice Samba lived up to his defense against PSG.
Signing in particular a superb reflex parade in front of Sarabia a quarter of an hour from the end, the Lensois goalkeeper is in line with his excellent season.
He is the guarantor of the solidity of this artesian team, which has once again shown its solidarity.
FLOPS
Donnarumma, struggling
Where is the goalkeeper so decisive in the past?
Gianluigi Donnarumma has undoubtedly achieved one of his worst performances at PSG.
Repelling too slowly a cross from Haidara which brings Frankowski's goal, he lacks conviction in his duel with Openda on the 2nd goal from Lens.
Feverish in the air, barely more serene in his kicking game, the Italian suffered events like his team.
Ramos, exceeded in length and breadth
For this first match of the year, Sergio Ramos seemed seriously out of form.
Overwhelmed by the vivacity of the opposing attackers, the Spanish defender did not know how to contain the Lensois, losing most of his duels and experiencing some placement problems.
His fatal slip on the 2nd Lensois goal is the symbol of his failed match.
Galtier did not find the formula in the middle
To bring physical density in the midfield, Galtier had chosen to put large templates like Danilo and Fabian Ruiz.
Except that the two men suffered in contact and above all proved to be too harmless with the ball at their feet.
Paris having possession, it would have taken more creativity to bring the balls to the attackers and the numerous ball losses in this sector greatly weakened the balance of PSG.
Even Marco Verratti, usually impeccable, missed out.
